You can transfer money to Turkey directly from your account with our Branch or through any other bank. You can use a money order, postal order, official check, or utilize the bank-by-mail service.

HOW TO MAKE A TRANSFER ?

Walk-in or Transfers by Mail: For sending money to Turkey you can go to any bank and request a certified check, cashier's check, or official check. You can also go to a post office or another agent to get a postal order or a money order.

You then need to complete and sign a Money Transfer Form , and forward it to us by mail or walk-in, together with any of the following money instruments (transfers by cash can only be done in person) and a copy of your valid photo ID with signature. (Note: All money transfer forms must include your SSN in order to be processed.)

• U.S. Treasury Check
• Money Order, Postal Order (Note: Multiple money/postal orders not accepted.)
• Cashier's check
• Official check
• Cash (The limit for the transfers by cash is limited to $2,500 per transaction with an annual limit of $10,000.)

Checks must be made payable to Ziraat Bankasi. Please note that personal checks are not accepted. Funds will be sent to their destinations after the clearance of your check (usually1-5 days). However, transfers by cash will reach their destinations on the next business day. When you are transferring money, you have to submit the original or attach a copy of your photo ID.

Wire Transfer From Your Bank Account: If you have an account with us, you can transfer money by forwarding instructions from your home or work. Mention where you want the money to be transferred, the amount, the beneficiary and/or account number.

If you don't have an account with our branch, you can open one easily and start enjoying our competitive fees and services. You may also wire money in any amount through your local bank by providing the following details:

WHAT FEES WILL BE APPLIED TO BENEFICIARIES IN TURKEY ?

The beneficiary can be paid in US dollars or Turkish lira.

Payment in US Dollars: There is no fee when the beneficiary withdraws the money after 21 days. Otherwise a commission of 1% will be applied to the amount by our branches in Turkey.

Payment in Turkish Lira: No commission is applied. In other words, the beneficiary receives the Turkish lira equivalent of the US dollars.

WITHDRAWING MONEY FROM ACCOUNTS IN TURKEY VIA T.C.Z.B. New York BRANCH

To request funds from your account at one of our branches in Turkey, you should apply to our Branch in person to fill out the required form and provide identification. In cases where the customer is unable to come to the Branch in person, a notarized copy of your signature and identification must accompany the written request that outlines all details regarding your account ( Letter for Withdrawals from Turkey ). Upon receipt of the funds from Turkey, which usually takes a day or two*, you will be informed and asked to pick up the funds in person against appropriate identification. In cases where the customer is unable to come to the branch, money may also be transferred to his/her bank account or an official check may be issued in his/her name.

*In emergency cases, you can get the funds the same day by visiting our Branch between 9 AM and 10 AM. A $10 fee may apply in addition to the regular fees.
